Stopcocks

 

Lead glass; measured by the size of the bore. 2mm and 4mm sizes are used for valving rare gas; 4mm size is less likely to become plugged with grease but provides less control with small units. 6mm stopcocks are frequently used for controlling submanifolds. 8mm and 10mm sizes are used as valves for the main vacuum pump; use the 10mm size on all but the smallest of manifolds.
